Principle of Operation:
The wiring and principle of the zero sequence current transformer is shown in Figure 2.
Zb is the coil impedance of the actuator, and Rb is the secondary sampling resistance of the transformer.
When leakage current or zero-sequence current is generated, a current Io flows in the coil of the actuator, this current either directly generates an electromagnetic force to make the actuator act; or through a sampling resistor, a voltage signal Vb is generated as the microelectronic circuit Input signal, drive actuator action through electronic amplifier circuit.
